Type 1784 "Arco" Cavalry saber, probably for non-commissioned officers. Brass mounting with fleurions, place for an old leather thumb piece on the lower ferrule. Through hole in the pommel for a lanyard, very slight crack in the plate finial. The arms are decorated with a line underlining the rim. Basane-covered spindle with simple twisted filigree (a few holes in the basane). Straight blade with two hollow sides ending in a point in the axis of the blade. Fine K crowned (Klingenthal) and B (Bisch) hallmarks from the Klingenthal factory. Blackened leather scabbard with three brass fittings (old sting replaced). Total length 107 cm, blade 91 cm.
