Colonel des Guides de la Garde Impériale sabretache, Second Empire. Inner lining in green and red Moroccan with decorative stitching. Leather blade externally lined with green fabric and surrounded by double gold braid (very patinated). Three fastening rings and a sliding buckle. Gilded bronze eagle plate with patina but 90% gilding. Good piece in its original condition, not cleaned, with wear and patina. Height 31 cm, width 27 cm.
