Wax case decorated with garlands of flowers, semi sequins and stars, the base is emblazoned azure with a golden heron on a terrace accompanied in chief by two torches in saltire and surmounted by a count's crown. (Cadet branch of the Bertrand family). Three-color gold 916 ‰ with the Maison Commune de Paris hallmark of 1785, small works hallmark (inside) and small works hallmark (outside) and discharge hallmark 1774-1789 with ivy leaf (Variant) for the 916 ‰, Length 11.8 cm; weight 36.6 g.
