A very fine Model 1822 Tbis infantry rifle. The lock is clearly marked "Manufacture Royale de Tulle" and is in working order. The barrel bears very fresh markings: "C de 18" and "1825 MR," with the breech marked "1822 Tbis." White polished metal; the inside of the barrel has very fresh rifling. Beautiful walnut stock with a label and small hallmarks, marked twice with "St Etienne" (repair at the arsenal). Condition close to new, perfect for a shooter. Category D.
