French service revolver, Model 1873, 11 mm caliber. Light gray metal finish, sharp edges, never repolished or cleaned, mirror-finish barrel, no play. Remnants of original yellow paint on the trigger and hammer. Works very well in single-action and double-action modes, powerful springs. Marked “Mre d’Armes de St Etienne” on the right side of the frame, M1873 on the barrel, dated S 1881, stamped M and T. All parts bear the same serial number, all small inspection marks present. Checkered walnut grips. Category D.
