1882 Model Infantry Officer's Saber. Multi-branch brass hilt - Lot 86
1882 Model Infantry Officer's Saber. Multi-branch brass hilt (damaged), straight blade with a flat back and a single hollow edge. Included is an Infantry Officer’s Sword, Model 1816. Brass hilt with a fixed crossguard decorated with a fleur-de-lis. Blade with two fuller grooves over 40 cm, decorated with etching, then with a lozenge pattern toward the point; shows signs of oxidation.
