Mid-19th-century Langeais earthenware Bottle-shaped jar with a double pewter lid, the outer one of which screws on. Colored glaze on a yellow background (a rare color for Langeais pieces) depicting a vine accented with platinum, a technique typical of this type of earthenware (patent filed in 1862). Marked “C B” in a cartouche for Charles Heard de Boissimon (1839–1879). Small chips. H 18 cm
