Mounted officer's breastplate. Steel breastplate and back, with proof print on the breastplate. Rich decoration of geometric and floral patterns in fine dots, stamped I-LEBRUN. Remains of padding on the back: coarse linen covered with silk with yellow velvet sleeves and silver braid border. The only shoulder strap is leather covered with the same velvet with silver braid border. There are traces of black paint. Total weight 16 kg. Rare in this condition. Probably Besançon around 1680.
