Elegant officer's sword with donkey step. Solid silver mounting, hallmarked on the "pas d'âne", decorated with bundles of arms, spindle alternating filigree and silver ribbon. Fine triangular blade, engraved on both sides with the motto "ne me tirez pas sans raison, ne me remettez point sans honneur". 18th century. Total length 92.5 cm, blade 77 cm. Without scabbard.
