Winchester rifle model 1895 caliber 405 WCF. Round barrel, 5-step frog. Model markings on buttstock and patents on left side of frame, a name (probably of the sponsor) engraved on left side of barrel. Slight traces of oxidation on the magazine and trigger guard. Serial number 78924 indicating manufacture in 1915. Interior condition of the mirror barrel with very well-marked scratches. Barrel marked "Nickel Steel Barrel Specially for Smokeless Powder" Nice walnut frame, some very minor handling marks. Formerly re-bronzed. Overall length 107.5 cm, barrel 58.5 cm. Category D.
