Superb Carabinieri cuirass model 1825 troupe. Plastron and dossière marked Manufacture Royale de Klingenthal April 1833, 2nd size, 2nd width, N° 87. Same serial number 228 on left outer sides. Original black leather shoulder pads and belt, still supple and unbroken. The embossed iron sunburst glory is of the Présidence model (1848-1852). Numerous small control marks. Excellent condition, with custom-made internal wrought-iron stand (Provenance: sale of Denis collection, St Etienne November 26, 1995, lot 601).
