Cavalry pistol model 1822 Tbis built new. Lock without notch of bassinet of the Manufacture Impériale de St Etienne. Barrel well marked MI and dated 1863, left side marked "C de 17.7N" and stamped J and D in an oval, very good rifling. Homogeneous brass fittings, all stamped with a spangled D and a G. Beautiful blond walnut frame, also hallmarked D and G, label on back of counterplate marked Novembre ...., tulip-shaped ramrod also hallmarked D étoilé. Overall length 34.5 cm, barrel 20 cm. Category D.
