Small mixed rifle, with high-quality pins and folding stock. Table-top damascus barrels, signed Bernard in gold on the band, 16 gauge. One smoothbore barrel and one barrel with 10 heavy rifling, two-leaf folding frog. Carcass engraved with foliage motifs, all steel fittings engraved en suite. Rear locks, signed Verney Jeune in Lyon, well functional. Beautiful walnut frame, folding with a push-button system (no play), notches in the stock allowing it, when folded, to follow the relief of the hammer and right barrel. Beautiful gun in its original state, not cleaned, metal just gray, damascus color faded. Category D.
