Flintlock pistol signed “J. LAMOTTE.” All steel fittings decorated with a fine fillet. Barrel is pentagonal at the muzzle and round thereafter, with traces of bluing that has turned brown and gold decoration. Hammer broken. Total length 27.5 cm, barrel 13.5 cm, caliber approximately 15 mm. Category D. (Jean Lamotte, arquebusier and civilian supplier, born in St-Etienne, 1746–1798).
