Gendarmerie carbine, Model 1825. Lock plate marked "Manufacture Royale de Saint-Etienne," in working order. Markings "1832" on the left side of the barrel and "Mle 1825" on the breech. Fairly good gray metal; very slight oxidation on the barrel near the muzzle due to long-term storage. Beautiful light walnut stock. Category D.
