Early 20th-century glazed porcelain—Germany.
The head of a young Black man with a beaming smile, wearing a wing collar and a bow tie; perched on his curly hair, a top hat tilted over the right ear of an incorrigible reveler.
Marked “85” in pen on the inside of the lid and listed in the Horowitz catalog under number 251. Same provenance as the previous three.
