Tobacco jar. Large dog’s head made of nickel silver, wearing a funny hat with a tassel and pom-pom as well as a superb bow tie, smoking a cigar. The eyes are made of sulfide. This head is identical to the wooden one listed in the Horowitz catalog under number 921, which is missing the cigar. Date: late 19th to early 20th century No mark. H 16 cm
