A painted white porcelain tobacco jar depicting the head of a fawn-colored boxer with black muzzle and ears; its gentle gaze softens the menacing appearance that its bared teeth might otherwise convey.
Marked in red ink with the number 119 on the inside of the jar itself and on the reverse of a stamp: “Victoria Carlsbad Austria” for Victoria Schmidt & Co., Carlsbad,
Austria.
