Tobacco Jar - Lot 77
Tobacco Jar Porcelain, late 19th century, circa 1880 – France (probably Paris) – A bulbous tobacco jar with an inner porcelain lid and an outer pewter lid that screws on. The decoration is blue and white with gold accents. A circular garland of roses and colorful wildflowers surrounds the word “Tabac.” Marked with an “O” and a barely legible initial that could be an “A” and an “R.” Quimper Locmaria after 1870? La Hubaudière? Héloury? Héloury and Porquier? Porquier and Beau? H 13.5 cm
