Tobacco Jar Set of eight tobacco jars. Late 19th-century stoneware Tobacco jar decorated with a windmill set in a wood, on a mottled background imitating moss. The lid knob is a long-haired dog, lying down with its head raised. No mark. Lid is not original. H 15.5 cm Tobacco jar Late 19th-century stoneware Single-colored, mottled stoneware tobacco jar designed to resemble forest moss. The lid’s finial is a curved tree branch. Marked X. Labrut Factory in Roanne. H 18.5 cm Tobacco jar Beauvais stoneware, late 19th century Brownish tobacco jar with a rather coarse decoration of straw, flowers with their leaves, and a tassel. No mark. Chips and firing defects. H 14 cm Tobacco jar Stoneware, circa 1900–1914 – Digoin – Small gray tobacco jar decorated with incised vertical grooves, bordered at the top and bottom of the body by two circular rows of beads. Marked 2. H 12 cm Tobacco jar Glazed stoneware, painted late 19th–early 20th century - Digoin - Brown glazed stoneware tobacco jar depicting a large tree trunk covered in rough bark with a garland of oak leaves and acorns. Marked under the lid in a cartouche: 2Corneau Myennes, and beneath the pot, the number 1. Good condition. H 14 cm Tobacco jar Glazed stoneware, late 19th century – France – Single-color brown stoneware jar depicting a tree trunk with knots and branch junctions. No markings. Fréthel mark; chip and missing piece. H 12.5 cm Tobacco jar Glazed stoneware, late 19th century – Beauvais – This cylindrical tobacco jar features a design, on a marbled background, of a running stag and stylized flowers. No mark.
