Set of tobacco jars Glazed stoneware, second half of the 20th century. Small beige stoneware tobacco jar with a pewter lid. The relief decoration, quite refined and delicate, depicts two falconers in Henri II-style attire with their dogs surrounding a hunting scene featuring an aurochs being devoured by three lions. Engraved on the base: 6064. Crack in the body. H 11.5 cm Tobacco jar Barbotine, 20th century, circa 1900 Against a background of bluish-brown drips, a relief of a branch with pink wildflowers and green leaves No mark, but possibly from the Wasmauel earthenware factory in Belgium Fréthel marks and numerous chips. H 15.5 cm Tobacco jar Fine earthenware, first quarter of the 20th century Small tobacco jar decorated with painted large cherries and their green leaves on a white background, framed by dark green bands at the top and bottom of the body. The lid is made of tinplate with a copper Fréthel mark. No mark. Tobacco jar Earthenware, 20th century, circa 1970 Off-white tobacco jar with a printed design of a red carriage, drawn by two horses and driven by a coachman, carrying two elegant ladies. The dark brown ceramic lid features a compartment for the humidifying sponge. Engraved with “9000” and in gold lettering: “exclusive design, hand-painted, made in France, registered design.” One crack. H 14.5 cm
