Tobacco Jar Early 19th-century earthenware Large merchant’s tobacco jar from the Directoire period, reminiscent of a pharmacy jar. Against a white background, a delicate blue decoration features a large coat of arms marked “Tabac à fumer” (smoking tobacco), set within an interlacing pattern of two stylized branches with small balls. No mark, but likely made in Brussels. Chips. H 27 cm
