Partially glazed terracotta, circa 1970–1980.
Urn-shaped tobacco jar, unglazed on the outside and glazed a deep blue on the inside. On the lid, which features a compartment for a humidifying sponge, a large black cat—asleep and speckled with white—serves as a handle.
Marked on the bottom with an incised fish of undetermined significance.
