Two Vallauris slipware pieces from the 20th century A cylindrical, reddish-brown tobacco jar with a slightly raised design reminiscent of a tree trunk. A yellow cartouche, marked “Tabac” in black letters, is affixed to the body of the jar. On the lid, a planted axe serves as a lid finial. No mark, but the whitish glaze runs are typical of Vallauris. H 19.5 cm
