19th-century Bohemian porcelain tobacco jar - Lot 131
19th-century Bohemian porcelain tobacco jar
A figure of a woman of easy virtue, like the previous one, scantily clad, wearing a feathered hat, holding a lit cigar in her hand; her languid pose evokes the Anglo-Saxon “Naughty Lady.” Richly decorated costumes.
Engraved on the bottom of the jar is the number 2532; its provenance from the Conta and Böhme factory is, here as well, certain.
