Large, urn-shaped pot depicting a sacred Japanese bell. The decoration—a brown relief with traces of gilding—features a dragon winding around the body of the pot. On the lid, the heads of two other dragons biting each other’s tails serve as a handle. A character, likely fanciful, is engraved on the base with a large “+” and a large “-”. Glazed, lustrous earthenware. Bohemia, circa 1890 No mark. Signs of wear and slight chips. H 25.5 cm
