Glazed, lustrous earthenware Bohemia, circa 1890 Large, urn-shaped pot depicting a sacred Japanese bell. The decoration, in brown relief with traces of gilding, features a dragon encircling the body of the pot. On the lid, the heads of two other dragons biting each other’s tails serve as a handle. An ideogram, likely fanciful, is engraved on the base with a large “+” and a large “-”. No mark. Provenance unknown. Signs of wear and slight chips. H 25.5 cm
