Painted bisque, mid-19th century A superb head of an Arab made of painted bisque with a light glaze. Only the very light blue eyes are visible, along with the abundant black hair, including a mustache and a superb curly beard, as well as the emerald-green turban flanked by a large yellow pompom that serves as the lid for this colorful jar. No mark. Limoges? H 21 cm
