Painted and glazed terracotta Bohemia, 19th century Composite figure, with a patina of age, depicting a stern-looking schoolmaster with glasses perched on his forehead, a whip in his right hand, and his left index finger tapping the desk behind which he stands—a desk that serves as a tobacco holder. Marked on the base with the number 147 and the initials BB for Bernard Bloch. Not listed in Horowitz. Signs of wear H 24.5 cm
