Late 19th century Large tobacco jar depicting the head of a smiling bourgeois man with large, gentle eyes, wearing an indoor cap—known as a “smoker’s cap”—with embroidered edges and topped with two pom-poms, which serves as a lid. The figure’s neck is encased in an officer’s collar from which a knotted tie emerges. Engraved on the base with the number 410 Signs of wear. H 20 cm
