Late 19th-century* slipware Rectangular pot depicting a pagoda-style house with a door, windows adorned with mashrabiya screens, and a pointed roof serving as a lid. Halfway up the front and encircling it, a ledge features a three-hole pipe holder and two compartments, one for unused matches and the other for used ones. Marked on the front with ideograms that are likely fanciful, and beneath the base, “XXXV”—unless it is “1XXX.” Numerous chips + broken foot. Height: 20 cm
