19th-century Bohemian slipware A Breton peasant, with his hand in his vest and a round hat under his arm, leaning against a giant, stylized fruit or vegetable that serves as a tobacco container; he is flanked, on the right and left, by hollowed-out, flowering tree trunks that serve as containers for unused and used matches. On the side of the base is a scraper. Marked BB 5586. Height: 20.5 cm
