19th-Century Bohemian Tobacco Box
A rectangular set, designed as a complete tobacco kit, consisting of: a drum from which emerges a clown child holding drumsticks and a cymbal—which serves as the tobacco jar itself— flanked on its right by another drum and an open basket for holding new and used matches. On the front of the basket is a scraper:
Marked only “01211” but, like the following piece, from the Bernard Bloch factory.
